About Claudia
Hi, I’m Claudia.
I run welcoming yoga classes near Bury St Edmunds, Haughley, Thurston and Woolpit. My teaching philosophy comes down to: Function and feeling over form.
I know that the yoga world can feel a bit intimidating when you are a beginner. The wellness industry often makes it look like you need to be perfectly zen and flexible to do Yoga. That is exactly why I started Yogadia, to make it accessible to everyone.
In my classes, you will notice a few things right away:
-
There is no "back of the class." I always set our mats up in a welcoming semi-circle.
-
I love props, we use blocks, bricks, and straps to bring the floor up to meet you and make poses more comfortable.
-
Wobbles are highly encouraged. We move to build strength, find softness and reset our nervous systems, but we never take ourselves too seriously.

My Journey & The Real "Balance"
I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and I'm a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP) accredited teacher. I am passionate about the physical and mental benefits of this practice.
To me, true balance means enjoying a bit of Yoga and then happily enjoying a really good doughnut afterwards. When I'm practicing at home, you'll usually find me trying to hold a balance while Ralph and Roger try to steal my yoga blocks.
Whether you are in need of an energising Rocket flow, a gentle restorative stretch or just 60 minutes of quiet away from your busy life, I have a mat waiting for you.
Claudia
